Matt Damon Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Using Toilet Water

Actor Matt Damon bathed himself with toilet water for a good cause.

After being nominated by Ben Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel,43-year old Matt Damon finally completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. He also shared that he will be making a donation since hr was not able to finish the dare within the 24-hour timeline.

Instead of just dumping ice water on his head, he explains that due to the drought in California and the fact that millions of people live without clean water every day, Damon decided to use toilet water to finish the dare.

“But because I co-founded Water.org, and we envision the day when everybody has access to a clean drink of water — and there are about 800 million people in the world who don’t — and so dumping a clean bucket of water on my head seemed a little crazy.”

”For those of you like my wife who think this is really disgusting, keep in mind that the water in our toilets in the West is actually cleaner than the water that most people in the developing world have access to, ” he added.

He nominated George Clooney, Bono and Tom Brady to join the challenge.
