Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera took time from her busy schedules with her wedding preparations and showbiz commitments to visit kids undergoing cleft palate and lip surgery.
Marian went to Philippine Band of Mercy in Quezon City on October 17 as part of her newest advocacy.
She shared her photo on her Instagram account and captioned it:
“Dinalaw ko ang mga bata na ooperahan ngayong araw na ito, di man madali ang kanilang pag dadaanan ngunit sa huli magiging maayos din ang lahat at mag kakaroon ng liwanag sa kanilang muka na may ngiti sa kanilang matatamis na labi… kung may kilala kayong may cleft lip or palate, itext o itawag sa Smile Train para sa libreng operasyon. 0917-52TRAIN (0917-52-87246) Have a great friday everyone!”
Marian is the newest smile ambassadress of Smile Train, an international children’s charity organization that helps kids who are in need of support and operation for cleft lip and palate.
Congress also assigned her as the Ambassador for Women and Children with Disabilities.
