Here's another shot of the flood-filled streets of Tomas Morato.

The sudden heavy rains and thunderstorm on Monday afternoon flooded several parts of Metro Manila.

In its official Twitter account, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said gutter-high floods were recorded at the EDSA-Aurora Boulevard Tunnel, on both the northbound and southbound directions at 3:28 p.m. The area remained passable.

Floodwaters that reached the level of half a tire were also seen at the intersection of Ortigas Avenue and Santolan Road at 3:36 p.m., which left only two lanes passable to all types of vehicles.

Flood in the area, however, subsided before 4 p.m., and all lanes are now passable, it said.
