The former beauty queen Carlene Aguilar shares his tragic experience with the owners of Grand Boracay Hotel. According to news report her husband was reportedly beaten up by the owners of the hotel where they were staying in Boracay over the Labor Day weekend.

In her personal Facebook page on Saturday, Aguilar narrated their “tragic experience” at the Grand Boracay Hotel which resulted in her husband being brought to a hospital because of bruises he suffered from the brawl.

According to Aguilar, the incident happened in the wee hours of Saturday when an intoxicated man, who claimed to be the son of the hotel owner, intentionally bumped her along the hallway as she was returning to their room.

“I could have let the obvious harassment done to me pass but my husband who was waiting for me near our room’s door saw what happened, no sorry was heard from the guy who brags to be the son of the owner. A simple sorry would do sana but my husband educated as he is let the incident pass and we went inside of our room,” she wrote, unedited.

When she and her husband were about to sleep, Aguilar said they heard “a very loud bang from our door and shouts from several angry people were heard outside our room.”

Aguilar said they saw an “old guy,” which she identified as a Tony Tan, “the father of the owner of the hotel,” the man who bumped her earlier and his older brother plus two security guards.

Aguilar said her husband decided to open the door because they saw “a supposedly decent elderly man” standing outside their room. Upon opening the door, Aguilar said the elder brother hit her husband by a pitcher.

“By instinct, my husband who at that juncture was about to be mobbed, got a bottle of liquor and used it to ward off the elder Castro, who we heard was hit on his wrist by the bottle. To my surprise, instead of being the peace maker, Mr.Tan, I clearly saw, released d 1st blow to my husband, then d 2 security men held my husband down and All 5 of them manhandled, mostly on d head, my husband. I intervened. Even I received some blows from them. They only stopped when I pleaded,” she wrote.

She said they immediately left the hotel after the incident for their safety and that they went to a hospital in Kalibo, which is around two hours away by land, where he had a CT scan.

At the time when Aguilar shared her side of the story on her Facebook page, the beauty queen said her husband was still experiencing severe drowsiness and vomiting.

Aguilar said she has also given her statement to the police and a report will be released on Monday.
