Kobe Paras has announced his decision – he’s playing for UCLA.
Kobe, the son of of two-time PBA Most Valuable Player Benjie Paras accepted the offer to play for NCAA Division 1 team UCLA on Saturday morning (Sunday night PH time), October 11 according to UCLA.scout.com.
The former La Salle Greenhills standout also confirmed the news on his Twitter account.
UCLA has expressed interest on the 6’6” player after the latter impressed scouts through several games with the Los Angeles Cathedral where he is currently playing his junior season.
The UCLA Bruins hold the NCAA record for most national championships (11), have made the Final Four round 17 times, and have made the NCAA March Madness tournament 44 times.
