5. Koenigsegg CCR
Slightly faster than McLaren F1 is the Koenigsegg CCR which has the ability to speed at 242 mph. The car, which was manufactured by Koenigsegg, a supercar manufacturer in Sweden, also held the title of the fastest car in the world briefly.
The car featured a V8 4.7 liter engine that was designed by Koenigsegg. While it did not have much in terms of electronic aids, it featured a carbon fiber body.
Even though the stats of the car is impressive, the period for which it held the title of the world’s fastest car was very brief as CCX was released shortly after, with a speed, which was faster than the CCR.
