Ricardo Medina, Jr., who played the red Ranger in several of the franchise films and television shows, was reportedly arguing with his roommate with his roommate at their apartment in Green Valley on Sunday afternoon when things turned physical.
Medina got into some kind of dispute with his roommate Joshua Sutter over the weekend. As the fight escalated, Medina retreated to his bedroom with his girlfriend.
Sutter reportedly then forced his way into Medina’s bedroom to keep arguing. That’s when this actor, who once starred in a movie called Power Rangers Samurai, grabbed a sword he kept by the door in his bedroom and stabbed Sutter to death.
Medina called 911 and stayed until cops arrived. He’s been charged with murder and is sitting in a Palmdale, California jail after bail was set at $1 million.
