Endangered Species For Sale: Endangered Shark Sold In Bohol

In spite of a law to protect wildlife resources and their habitats, it appears to be disregarded in some areas of the Philippines.  Especially regarding sharks or,  more specifically, Thresher sharks.

In the province of Cebu, not only is there a law protecting all sharks, they are all on the endangered species list.  In spite of this, Holger W. Horn saw a Thresher shark in a food market in Bohol.  He posted photos on Facebook, along with a plea to the politicians of Bohol to ensure that ALL sharks be truly protected throughout the entire country of the Philippines.
