For the first time in 15 years, Brad Arnold, lead singer for the band 3 Doors Down, stopped their show in Broomfield, Colorado to throw a man out of their concert.
“Hang on, hang on, hang on. Hey, hey homie. You don’t hit a woman”, said Arnold after seeing the aggressive concertgoer push a woman out of his way near the stage during a live performance on Tuesday. The man was immediately escorted out of the venue.
In an interview with CNN, Chris Henderson, lead guitarist of the band, said that a man in the crowd was attempting to scrap with another individual, and a woman was in the middle of them.
Henderson shared the video footage on his Twitter and commended his bandmate’s action, tweeting: “Brad telling someone to not hit a woman! Just another reason I’m proud to be in this band!!.
Loud cheers were heard in the video captured by Melissa Nichols and uploaded by Henderson on YouTube when Arnold asked that the man in the crowd be removed and saying” Get him the hell out of here.”
