A 12-year-old crooner from Caloocan City impressed the coaches with his version of a Jackson 5 hit on Saturday’s episode of ”The Voice Kids” Season 2.
Francis Ryan Lim said he learned how to sing while listening to his parents. He has performed in various corporate events and joined other singing contests.
For his blind audition, Lim sang “I’ll Be There,” where he got a three-chair turn.
In the end, Lim chose to be part of Sarah Geronimo’s team, prompting Lea Salonga to note the singer-actress seemed to be more in demand among boys aged 12 to 13.
